Annuals
Annual flats often offer larger packs of the same variety for mass planting
Petunia
Petunias are sun loving annuals that boast a wide range of colors and growth habits. They do well in containers as well as landscapes. They are very drought tolerant, standing up to the high heat of summer and are cool temperature tolerant as well.
Marigold
Marigolds are sun loving annuals that prefer temperatures above 50 degrees. They come in a variety of colors; typically a combination of yellow, gold, orange, and mahogany.
Pansy
Pansies are cold tolerant and sun loving annuals that come in many colors and varieties. They are most often sold in the early spring and late fall.
Angelonia
Angelonia are heat and sun loving, drought tolerant annuals that come in a variety of colors. The flower stalks grow a bit taller, so this would look great as part of a combination in a planter, or all by itself!
Impatiens
Impatiens are shade/part shade loving annuals that come in many varieties and colors. These plants cannot take cold temperatures, so make sure that it is at least 50 degrees at night before planting Impatiens outside.
Dianthus
A member of the carnation family, the annual Dianthus is much shorter than the perennial varieties. They work well in landscapes and containers. Dianthus thrive in warm and cool weather.
Dusty Miller
Dusty Miller is a sun loving annual grown primarily for its silver-gray foliage. It works very well as a filler plant in a combination planter or in landscape edging.

Wave Petunias are sun loving heat tolerant annuals that look great in gardens and containers. Waves are considered a trailing petunia because they trail down over the sides of containers they have been planted in. They are drought tolerant and can stand up to cooler temperatures.
